Golden wonder Ballistic came highly recommended to me by a friend and Couldnt wait to get it , I bought this little gift for myself online ...


 Released as part of the Christmas collection this year Golden wonder seems to be very a popular re release i couldn't wait to try

My first thought when it arrived was how unique the design is in its mostly square gift box shape with golden lustre finish and cream bow on top , it is also one of the largest  lush ballistics to date making this little package of joy more than worth its price at just £4.25 each, you could easily get 2 baths if your not greedy like me .

Lush say that the inspiration for this ballistic was the idea of the game pass the parcel , they made each layer different so its a real party popper for this time of year.

Golden wonder sharing its scent with snow showers shower gel has a light but beautiful  smooth but sweet citrus smell full of sweet orange oil, lime oil and cognac oil that do stand out but i must say the aroma is not as strong as I personal would like.

As soon as its placed in the water it fizzes to the surface with a stream of white and yellow froth . He is fast acting and soon opens up releasing swirls of a stunning shade of deep aqua blue that takes over the water with a mix of golden lustre and soluble paper stars ( in my case not many starts at all ) before disappearing all together . This is a stunning show to watch however I did not find that the scent was any stronger in the water wich for me can be a deal breaker.

The lustre does not stick to your skin or the bath so there is very little clear up after bath

To be honest I didn't fall in love though the display of colors reminded me of a peacock showing off his feathers , I prefer a strong aroma that fills the bathroom and sticks to the skin after bath , I also found that my skin was a little dry after use so I had to use plenty of body lotion after.

All in all this ballistic puts on a great show but may be all mouth and no action

Ever since I was a child I always left the best till last , yes Im one of those  people who when having a roast dinner leaves the yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes till last, eating the vegetables and things im not as fond of first to be a good girl and this is the case with this bath bomb , being the last of the 2016 Halloween collection I tried and the last Im blogging about in the collection but I think the first I bought

I ordered the Autumn leaf online and was very excited to see what it looked like in the flesh so to speak , Unfortunately my little leaf came to me with water spots  and was a little crumbled on the edges. I did at first think this may of just been a issue with a post man getting the package wet or something but after watching vloggers have the same problem I assume this as not the case but perhaps a compound issue

Released as part of this years Halloween  range Autumn Leaf bath bomb is rather unique in that it has non of the typical spooky traits , no ghosts , ghouls or comical monster design but instead is very autumnal.

Lush have really gone out of there way to tell the story of autumn , using beautiful pastel pink green and yellow to symbolize the color changing of the leaves this time of year while turning the water a stunning golden orange 

Sharing its sent with the Grass shower gel and bubble bar I found this product to smell like freshly cut grass or even the smell of the woods on a wet day with the mixture of nerloi , sandlewood and maple sap adding a slight woody note

In the water this leaf shaped ballistic is a slow fizzer gliding across the water expelling beautiful pink and green froth with a tint of a pale yellow and though the aroma is not all that strong it does hold in the water but not on the skin afterwards and I must say I found that it did dry my skin a little .

Leaving the bath a very autumnal shape of deep yellow or light orange with a little sediment behind in its path with a light frothy coating to the water

All in All I very much enjoyed this bath and found  it rather charming and though that lush once again had outdone themselves the only issue being in the compound, I will be stocking up while stocks are out however the scent was perhaps a little to light for my taste and reminded me far of spring then Autumn . I used  a lord of misrule shower gel when washing to add that little extra warmth

Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar Review

  One of this years Halloween collection sparkly pumpkin  is not a new release , first seen in 2014 sparkly pumpkin as you can see is a vibrant orange covered in gold lustre that sticks to the fingers, traditional pumpkin shaped bubble bar that shares its scent with the seasonal Mr Soap Punch

I have to say this was not one of this years Halloween collection I was particularly looking forward to as Im not a huge pumpkin fan for some reason I never understood how it is that pumpkins became so attached to the holiday

On first sniff it does smell of is pumkin but also a warm, woody / citrus scent that I have to say is rather inchanting and very apt for this time of year with juniperberry , lime and graperuit oils really standing out

Large enough for two uses making this bubble bar well worth the money and I found that half was more than enough when crumbled under the running water to create lashings of creamy bubbles far more so than any other Bubble bar I have  ever used

Turning the water a pale orange with some luster however this lustre did not sparkle though the water but stuck to the bottom of the tub but I will say it also does not stick to the skin either and rinses away from the bath very easily after the water is drained

Sparkly pumpkin creates a wonderfully comforting winter bath perfect of a chilly day.

 I used the Fireside soap to wash with and found the combination of the products  complement each other very well and the mix reminded me of hot toddy's to warm the bones

Yet again Lush have outdone themselves and while I wont be giving this products the full 5 bath bomb rating that is purely my preference because it for me did not have that extra element that just wows me however I will be stocking up as I truly enjoyed this bubble bar and found myself laying back and relaxing as the cozy winter essence took over me I only wish that scent was a little stronger

Firstly I would like to say the picture above is NOT what this little dude is supposed to look like .

 Ive had such a hard time with being able to review this product as not only did he not travel well  ( I can say from other bloggers and vloggers I have seen Im not the only one to of had this problem ) 

when I got home what in store had been a beautiful pink cyclops had become mainly dust he had lost his looks and was now little more than a knobbly pink ball 

I also need to  give a massive shout out to a friend who donated me some pics of this bath bomb in action as Mine got lost forever with the loss of my mobile phone  so...... thank you !!!

so on with the review

Monsters ball is one of this years Halloween release's however he in not brand new product but rather a reformulated one , new look and new name but not a new bath bomb ,Monsters ball who in his former life was the enchanter  was and still is part of the calacus scent family

As I have never used the enchanter bath bomb I cant comment on change really but as far as I can tell on research alone this new and improved release was for the better

Monsters ball does have a great look , or in my case did before I got him home of a pink cyclops with blue ears and a large cream colored cocoa butter eyeball

Making this unlike alot of other ballistics Fantastically rich and full of moisture

His scent is not as strong as some would assume though he does have a real zesty warmth about it on debut sniff you can really smell the lime and neroli oil without it being to fruity and ones in the water the scent does carry in the air 

From the moment it enters the water it starts to fizz , frothing out streams of pink and white as it powers its self around the water , Monsters ball is a ballistic that gives a real show with its deep blue center turning the water a magicle almost deep purple or dark blue very similar to the shade of the twilight shower gel when in its bottle. 

 The cocoa butter eye taking a little longer to melt into the water is well worth the wait turning this visual display into a deeply rich bath thats a real treat for your skin meaning that I didn't feel I needed to use alot of  body lotion on my skin after bath as I  do as I have very dry skin areas

 I also found that once melted it added a sweeter note to the overall scent of the water .. however much to my disappointment the seem did not linger on my skin 

I find it very hard to make up my mind about this product if Im honest .

personally I love for a bath bomb to have a much stronger scent that lingers on my skin and the fact that mine did not make it home in tact as the compound is much chalkier than in other lush bath bomb I have had before have really distracted me from its positives in the beautiful deep color in the water that  I love as well as the pleasure I get from watching monsters ball in action !

Come on , just look at him Isnt he cute !!!!

Im such a sucker for the seasonal stuff , I like most women I see something cute and I want it  this was true with little Mr Boo here

I ordered the Boo Bath melt and bubble bar online and He was probably the product from this years Halloween collection I most looked forward to getting 

This adorable little ghost is one of the new releases for this years collection ,.. how Lush does spoil us lushies !..

When He got to me he was a little melted and from what I have seen alot of people had this problem ,getting him home from shop to find a puddle of white gunge with little black eyes mush like a melted snow man , However I was lucky and Boo was still is tact and only slightly worse for wear.

 Sharing His scent with the ginger family this little man has all the warmth needed with time of year with one of Lushes oldest fragrances, being a newish Lushie this was my introduction to the scent

Though the smell of this product is not a strong one , I found individual elements hard to pick out but enjoyed what I found to be a floral but spicy aroma on depute sniff 

This being the first of its kind from Lush , it is not only a bath melt but  also a bubble bar .

As a bath melt if Im honest it didn't feel nearly as nourishing as other Lush  bath melts  at more than the useual bath melt price of £ 2 pounds Mr Boo will set you back £3.50 

 I did have to use alot of body lotion after bath ( something I dont normaly have to with a bath melt ) but it did add a softness to the water  .

As A bubble bar I found it did make some light and fluffy bubbles but again , not as good as other bubble bars by far the whole bar making nothing more than surface bubbles that disappeared before I had a chance to take a picture leaving nothing but a light mist to the water 

Alot of people found this mix of ginger ,geranium and the bergamot to be a pungent strong fragrance but in honesty, Mine was not ...maybe due to mine being a little melted??? ..

I dont Know but I was wholeheartedly disappointed

While I love the idea of a bubble bar/ bath melt in reality I dont think It pulled off and while I did enjoy the aroma It did not fill the air with its spicy warmth nor did it linger on my skin

 

 He is cute , He does smell nice up close

but this love affair was but a passing acquaintance

Fireside soap Review

Like most of this years Halloween collection I was looking forward to this soap as it was yet another new release  and  i couldn't wait to see it as the pictures I had seem displayed a stunning deep read bar with yellow flames embedded in it , And although the slice I received did not look like flaming lava but a abstract scare pattern I still was not disappointed

As ever this soap was aptly named as lush do so well

the scent blew me away, such a nostalgic warm wintry smell that will spice you up any time you use it leaving a light muskiness trace on the skin , reminding me of Christmas time in-front of a open fire with a warm cup  some cinnamon drink or mulled wine  

 Containing both dried chestnuts and chestnut flour, is a nutty and naturally sweet but spiced soap.

It lathers up well , more so then most lush soaps however i did notice that the yellow part seems to create the creamy bubbles rather than all of the bar 

I first used fireside to wash my hands and face at the sink and fell in love , the warm scent filled the steamy bathroom and encased me in a warm winter memory of my Granddad,

 Like most people smells can trigger warm feeling and memory's , for me I loved it 

, I washed my skin well without leaving it dry and I found myself smelling my hands for long afterwards enjoying the light musky odor left, that reminded me of a mans aftershave left behind on your sheets ( you know what Im saying girls )

For Me this is as yet my favorite Lush soap by far ...thank you lush
